Lily & H

A Casa Marina Soiree

Lily inquired with me after she had booked the iconic Casa Marina Resort for her wedding celebration.

She was studying to become a lawyer and had limited time to dedicate to wedding planning (she passed the BAR exam!)

She was inviting 270 guests to the wedding, this was in fact a production and not an intimate wedding (she ended up with 180 guests - Destination Weddings are an amazing life choice when trying to have a more intimate celebration!)

Lily had a vision for her wedding. She wanted an elegant evening with vintage florida vibes without being "too" tropical - We designed the wedding including elements like bamboo, tropical flowers (Anthuriums, amanthus, etc) and other flowers like calla lilies and ranunculus -

During cocktail hour we had custom coconuts with their initials, a custom sand sculpture, upgraded linens with BBJ Linens and a quintet consisting of pianist, saxophonist, guitarist, bassist and drummer

The celebration was unbelievable - We hired a band from South Carolina (Steel Toe Stiletto) and the dancefloor was full all evening with a very high energy

Once the wedding ended, we had the local conch trains pick up all the guests and we sent them on their way to an after party at Ricks (Duval Street stays open until 4 AM!!)
